Russell E. Reviere Inducted into Memphis Bar Foundation 

Memphis Bar Foundation President, Judge Donna Fields, recently inducted thirty new fellows of the Foundation, including Russell E. Reviere. To be nominated as a Fellow, attorneys and judges must have been in practice for at least ten years and demonstrated a commitment to the highest standards of professional ethics and personal conduct as well as service to the legal profession and the community. Nominees are nominated by other Fellows and are approved by the Memphis Bar Foundation (MBF) Board of Directors.

The Memphis Bar Foundation is the charitable foundation affiliated with the Memphis Bar Association. Over the years, the Foundation has supported causes in four primary areas: scholarship, equal access to justice, professionalism, and lawyer assistance. The Foundation’s mission is to promote philanthropy among members of the Bar; advocate and support public awareness of the legal system; promote social justice and legal education; and encourage and recognize professionalism among members of the Bar.

About Russell E. Reviere
Russell Reviere's practice involves handling cases dealing with bad faith and insurance fraud in first party claims, insurance coverage, defense of professional liability claims and complex litigation.

He was admitted to practice by the Supreme Court of Tennessee in 1980, the United States District Court of Tennessee (Western, Middle, and Eastern Districts) and is also admitted to practice in the Sixth United States Court of Appeals in Cincinnati, Ohio. Russell is certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is certified as a Mediator by the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.

His memberships include the Jackson-Madison County Bar Association, the Memphis Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, the International Association of Defense Counsel, the International Association of Arson Investigators, and is a member of the board of the Tennessee Advisory Committee on Arson.
 
Russell is a Fellow of the Memphis Bar Foundation and was selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® in the specialty of Insurance Law. He has also been selected for inclusion in Mid-South Super Lawyers for Civil Litigation Defense and also Super Lawyers Corporate Edition for Insurance Coverage. Russell frequently speaks/lectures at professional continuing legal education programs.

He has been associated with the Firm since receiving his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1980 from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law.
