Gregory D. Jordan to Speak at Tennessee Workers’ Compensation Conference in Franklin, TN on November 13, 2009 

Gregory D. Jordan will be a featured speaker during the Tennessee Workers’ Compensation Conference to be held in Franklin, TN on November 13, 2009. Greg will be speaking on the topics of Defending Common Injury Scenarios, Calculating the Employee’s Comp Rate, and How to Keep the Employee Away from an Attorney. This conference is designed to update attendees on recent legislative developments, including permitted communications between employers and treating physicians and new rules for coverage of injuries to employees during recreational activities.

About Gregory D. Jordan
Gregory Jordan has twenty-five years experience representing employers in the areas of workers’ compensation and employment law. In addition, he has experience in personal injury litigation, litigating the enforceability of covenants not to compete, and other areas of business law.

Admitted to practice by the Supreme Court Tennessee in 1984, Gregory is also licensed to practice in the United States District Courts for both the Western and Middle Districts of Tennessee.

He is certified by the Supreme Court of Tennessee as a Rule 31 General Civil and Family Law mediator and has significant experience mediating cases involving personal injury, employment law, and contract disputes. He is a member of the Jackson-Madison County Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, and the Defense Research Institute.

Gregory received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 1984. He has served as an adjunct professor of Business Law and Business Ethics at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. He has been associated with the Firm for twenty-five years.
