The Firm Welcomes Joshua B. Dougan to its Jackson Office 

Rainey, Kizer, Reviere & Bell, P.L.C., welcomes Joshua B. Dougan as an associate to its Jackson office.  Dougan's practice focuses primarily on the areas of tort and insurance defense and workers' compensation.  He is a member of the Firm's Tort and Insurance Practice Group.

Dougan received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, cum laude, from Union University.  At Union, he was awarded the Political Science Major Award and the Elizabeth Tigrett Medal.  Dougan received his Doctor of Jurisprudence with a concentration in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution, cum laude, from the University of Tennessee College of Law.  During law school, Dougan was twice selected as a member of the Jerome Prince Evidence Moot Court Team, and served on the Moot Court Board.  He was also named to the Order of Barristers.  While in law school, Dougan clerked for the Knox County District Attorney General's Office and for the Honorable D. Michael Swiney of the Tennessee Court of Appeals.  

 

Dougan is a member of the Jackson-Madison County Bar Association and the Tennessee Bar Association. 

 

Dougan was admitted to practice in 2009 by the Supreme Court of Tennessee.  He is also admitted to practice in the United State District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.
