Russell Reviere and Angela Youngberg to Speak at TBA's 25th Annual CLE Ski in Park City, Utah - February 6-11, 2010

The Tennessee Bar Association's 25th Anuual CLE Ski will take place on February 6-11, 2010, in Park City, Utah.  Russell Reviere will be speaking on Recent and Upcoming Changes in the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.  Angela Youngberg will be speaking on February 8, 2010, on the topic of Representing Physicians.

About  Russell E. Reviere
Russell Reviere's Practice involves handling cases dealing with bad faith and insurance fraud in first party cliams, insurance coverage, defense of professional liability claims and complex litigation. 
 
He was admitted to practice by the Supreme Court of Tennessee in 1980, the United States District Court of Tennessee (Western, Middle, and Eastern Districts) and is also admitted to practice in the Sixth United States Court of Appeals in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Russell is certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.  He is certified as a Mediator by the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.
His memberships include the Jackson-Madison County Bar Association, the Memphis Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, the International Association of Defense Counsel, the International Association of Arson Investigators, and is a member of the board of the Tennessee Advisory Committee on Arson.
 
Russell is a Fellow of the Memphis Bar Foundation and was selected by his peers for the inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America in the specialty of Insurance Law.  He has also been selected for inclusion in Mid-South Super Lawyers for Civil Litigation Defense and also Super Lawyers Corporate Edition for Insurance Coverage.  Russell frequently speaks/lectures at professional continuing legal education programs.

He has been associated with the Firm since receiving his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1980 from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law.   

About Angela C. Youngberg
Angela practices in the areas of heathcare law, acquisitions, mergers and joint ventures, and general corporate/business law.  She represents clients in a variety of transactions involving the formation of business entities, acquisitions and sales of businesses, drafting and negotiating joint venture, shareholder, and employment agreements, contract drafting and review, and corporate governance.
 
She provides health law practice counseling to physicians, physician groups, hospitals, institutional clients, and vaious heathcare providers, including fraud and abuse (such as Stark, false claims, and anti-kickback laws), compliance issues, heathcare privacy (HIPAA), fee splitting and corporate practice of medicine limitations, and negotiating and drafting numerous types of heathcare contracts.  She also advises clients in the development of medical practice networks, joint ventures, physican practice management companies, management agreements, physician and other employment agreements, and healthcare organizational documents.
 
Angela has been licensed by the Supreme Court of Tennessee since 1995, and is a member of the Jackson-Madison County Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, the Jackson Rotery Club, and the American Health Lawyers Association.  She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Jackson-Madison County Bar Association, a member of the Executive Council of the Health Law Section of the Tennesse Bar Association, and a former member of the Board of Directors of C.A.R.E.  Angela is pro bono counsel for the Health and Healing Clinic.  She has been selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America in the specialty of Health Care Law.  Angela has also been recognized in Law & Politics magazine's list of "Rising Stars" in Tennessee. 
 
She has been associated with the Firm since 1996, after receiving her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law.
