Mr. Kizer is a Member of Rainey, Kizer, Reviere & Bell, P.L.C., and has been associated with the Firm since it was founded. Mr. Kizer received his LLB
in 1966 from the University of Tennessee College of Law. In
addition to being a member, and past president, of the
Jackson-Madison County Bar Association, Mr. Kizer is also a
member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the Tennessee Defense
Lawyers Association, and the Defense Research Institute. Mr.
Kizer has served as a Hearing Committee Member for the Tennessee
Board of Professional Responsibility. Mr. Kizer is a Fellow of
the American College of Trial Lawyers and a Fellow of the
Tennessee Bar Foundation. Mr. Kizer has been selected by his
peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America®.
Mr. Kizer has extensive trial experience representing physicians, hospitals, nurses, clinics, and other healthcare professionals in medical malpractice litigation. Mr. Kizer also has significant experience in school law, having represented the local Board of Education in a lengthy school desegregation lawsuit. In addition, Mr. Kizer has extensive experience in commercial,
products liability, and healthcare law litigation. Mr. Kizer has served as a lecturer and discussion panel member for State Volunteer Mutual Insurance Company Loss Prevention Seminars and has lectured on various issues relating to healthcare law.
Mr. Kizer is a member of the Firm's Malpractice and Healthcare
Practice Group.

Surratt, 525 S.W.2d 137 (Tenn. 1975); Jackson Housing Authority v. Auto Owners Insurance Company, 686 S.W.2d 917 (Tenn. Ct. App. 1984); Young v. Western World Insurance Co., 545 S.W.2d 946 (Tenn. Ct. App. 1976); Henson v. Woolworth, 537 S.W.2d 923 (Tenn. Ct. App. 1974).
Mr. Kizer was admitted to practice by the Supreme Court of Tennessee in 1967. He is also admitted to practice in
the United States District Court of Tennessee and the Sixth United States Court of Appeals.
